A neat cut, healthier turf and a repaired bare patch are different goals. Tell the provider which result you need before comparing a visit price.

Describe the property, not just “lawn care.”
- Separate the lawn from beds, slopes, fenced areas and hard surfaces.
- Note gates, steps, narrow access and areas that need extra care.
- Say whether you need recurring visits or a one-time reset.
- Describe bare patches, standing water or heavy leaf cover without assuming the cause.
- Ask whether clippings, edging, debris removal and other extras are included.
Compare like-for-like estimates.
A mowing quote may exclude treatments, seasonal work or renovation. Have each provider spell out the same lawn areas, service frequency, optional work and responsibilities. Ask how weather delays, schedule changes and cancellations are handled.

Can I request just one visit?
Ask the provider whether it accepts that scope and has availability. This guide does not confirm a minimum term or one-time pricing.
Does lawn restoration include sod?
We have verified seeding and lawn restoration on the provider’s website. We have not verified sod installation, so confirm that separately before requesting it.
Will lawn treatment fix a drainage issue?
Describe the water problem during the assessment. Lawn care and drainage work are separate scopes; a treatment plan should not be assumed to correct the cause of standing water.
